Having brought Kong back to the states to use for an advertising campaign (no, really), Fred Wilson (Charles Grodin) tries to calm the crowd with assurances that an upset Kong is in an unbreakable cage... which quickly proves false. Dwan (yes, her name is Dwan, and she is played by Jessica Lange in her film debut) quickly gets with Jack (Jeff Bridges) to flee as Kong goes on his rampage.
