(A Quiet Place)
VS
Your Challenger
Gotcha
(Halloween)
The Case for The Toy Rocket (1):
Having expertly started with an almost completely silent opening scene - and creating tension by having Beau (Cade Woodward) grab a set of batteries - we watch the Abbott family return quietly towards their home - and the jarring sound of the toy rocket Beau has turned on breaking the silence. Despite Lee (John Krasinski) desperately sprinting towards his son, he doesn't make it in time...
The Case for Gotcha:
Hiding in a secret basement - which has now been discovered - Karen (Judy Greer) does her best to try to protect her daughter Allyson (Andi Matichak). As the island concealing the entry is torn away, she grabs a gun and aims it at the now-open entrance. She appears to lose her nerve, and desperately calls out to her mother Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) for help - just as Michael Myers appears.
