Having invited a drunken Paul (Jared Leto) to his apartment with the intent of killing him, Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) first converses with him, eventually going into a long lecture about the musicality of Huey Lewis & the News.

"Having stumbled upon a tin fill of trinkets forgotten behind the wall of her bathroom for decades, Parisian waitress Amélie (Audrey Tautou) goes to great lengths to track down its original owner.  When she finally finds the man, Dominique Breteaudo (Maurice Bénichou), now middle aged, she chickens out on presenting it in person, leaving it for him in a phone booth without explanation, as if it slipped through a hole in time during his childhood."
