The Case for End Credits (1):

Having just had a final conversation with his first love, Elio (Timothée Chalamet) sits in front of the fireplace while coming to terms with the end of the relationship as Sufjan Steven's 'Visions of Gideon' plays.  We sit with his grief for the entire end credits, before he turns to rejoin his family.

The Case for Almost There:

In this early number, Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) sings about how close she is to achieving her dream as the animation switches to her fantasy: a popular restaurant that is filled with customers.  While admitting that she still has lots of work to do, she can see her goal is within reach - and as the animation transitions back to 'reality,' she and her mother begin the process of straightening up the currently-unoccupied building.
