The Case for Hip to Be Square (1):

Having invited a drunken Paul (Jared Leto) to his apartment with the intent of killing him, Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) first converses with him, eventually going into a long lecture about the musicality of Huey Lewis & the News.

The Case for Memory:

For all the problems that this film had - odd casting, weird CGI and costumes, sets that don't make any sense, the mice that are the fuel for nightmares - at least they made sure that Memory was sung by Jennifer Hudson.
