Having barely saved a young Arthur from Madam Mim, Merlin finds himself dueling the witch, though she cheats almost immediately. Despite this, Merlin eventually manages to defeat her, teaching Arthur the lesson that strength cannot win all battles - sometimes you have to outsmart your foe.

Having just assisted the Penguin (Danny DeVito) frame Batman (Michael Keaton) for murder, Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) confronts Batman on a rooftop, where an exchange between the two becomes pivotal to the latter part of the movie.
