Marlene (Alexandra Maria Lara) thinks she has impressed her companion Niki (Daniel Bruhl) with the quick response to her hitchhiking after the two find themselves stranded on the side of the road. However, not only have the other motorists stopped for Niki instead of her, but she learns a bit about Niki's skills when she asks him to drive faster for her.
